Just finished this and it hit a bit too close.

That gym sign story was perfect. I’ve had the exact same moment where some motivational nonsense completely clashes with what I actually walked in for. The whole advice for the average person vs one guy’s miracle fix thing felt real. Especially the passionate people trap… yeah, I’ve fallen for that more times than I care to admit.

It’s great to hear it’s resonated. I think the passionate people trap is so hard not to fall for. Maybe the solution is to find another passionate person that tells us the opposite message? Thanks for stopping by Thomas 😊

Thanks, Kuba! I think you're onto something there. Hearing thoughtful people with different viewpoints probably helps us question our assumptions instead of treating any one perspective as the only answer. I really enjoyed the discussion, and I appreciate you taking the time to reply. Looking forward to reading your future posts!

Thanks, Kuba. I really appreciate your thoughtful reply. I think you're right. Hearing different perspectives from passionate people can help us step back and decide what actually fits our own lives instead of following someone else's path blindly. I really enjoyed this piece and I'm looking forward to reading more of your work.

I think that’s it! Agreed. And welcome to the newsletter 😊

Yeah, I enjoyed this one. It's so easy to forget that what works for one person may not work for another. Everyone's situation is a little different. We should consider the advice but still think for ourselves. The woolly pigs are cool!

Exactly that Dino, we’re so different and our problems are so unique!

Nice article between.

I love your take on having a pinch of suspicion before listening to any advice....

I am more curious are they called willy pigs because of they have hair in their body. They look like a wily to me though

Thank you. I must admit, I have no idea what they're called. I only spent about 10 minutes with them, but they do look quite unusual.

We do need to be suspicious of any advice, but... any advice on what they're called? 😁
