Quite a fun read! Humor and comedy are indeed clever. hard to keep a shield up while laughing.

As for the essence, I absolutely agree; I'm particularly familiar with one side of it, the "fixing everything" one.

A kid comes and asks his friend, "I have these two candies, but I'm not sure which one to eat first." - His friend then takes them and grabs them so naturally that it just "happens," and, while chewing, says, "I don't understand; that wasn't that hard. They were equally good."

Thanks David! I think some humour is a must!

And regarding the candies example - that’s just theft! 😂

😂 I know, right? Some life experiences, indeed, can be stolen through spoilers of what lies ahead. Later I understood things like, "David, don't mess with his head!" I thought they were just repeating something they heard somewhere else, not referring to a real thing. As for the door one, that one was plain hilarious!

That opening story had me laughing...Such a great reminder that kindness is most useful when it meets someone's actual needs, not our assumptions.

I’m glad you got something useful out of it, and a bonus laugh too!

The running story made me laugh. Good intentions don't always equal good results. Sometimes the best thing we can do is slow down and understand the situation before jumping in to help.

Some comedy with a lesson attached to it 😂
